Baylor Scott & White Family Medicine – Plano
Dr. David Gartenberg has been providing medical care to patients in Plano and surrounding areas for the past 3 decades. He is a American Board Certified Family Physician. He also has a Fellowship from the American Academy of Family Physicians and is a Past President of the American Academy Of Family Physicians for all of Collin County. He has twice been Chief of the Department of Family Medicine at HCA Medical Center of Plano. He has been a teacher in the UT Southwestern School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency program at St. Paul Hospital, Dallas, Texas, and was appointed Community Lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill University Faculty of Medicine in Montreal, Canada. He has been involved in multiple medical research studies. He has done a lot of volunteer medical teaching in the community, and most recently was a lecturer in a community conference at Baylor Medical Center of Plano. He has always given generously of his time to charitable causes In the community including involvement in the setting up of and staffing the Katrina emergency medical help clinic. Dr. Gartenberg has been married for many years to his wife Cheryl who he adores. He has a daughter and a son. His hobbies include fly fishing, photography, music, woodworking and reading.
